Tarbiyyah
A huge emphasis is placed in Tarbiyyah, instilling in the students excellent adab and aklaaq and strong attachment to the beautiful sunnah of the prophet (PBIH). A spirit of self-recitation and self- improvement runs during a student’s life at Jamia Siddiqia that is conducive to developing within students a sense of responsibility and a serious ethic towards lifelong learning.
Adab and Akhlaaq
Good manners and character; respect for teachers, parents and elders; and compassion for fellow students and youngsters.
Discipline
Discipline is an important part of learning through experience in Jamia Siddiqia. It is needed for the fundamental practices of Islam like the five time daily prayers, fasting, giving charity regularly and essentially to gain knowledge. We prepare our students to become the best scholars possible by teaching the discipline-easing into a routine that is not harsh and yet settles the student into acquiring as much as possible from the madrasah.
Extra-curricular activities
Students are given every opportunity to participate in activities that encourage responsibility, give them experience of life and develop key skills. Some examples are:
* The madrasah students regularly compete in and occasionally organize tournaments involving local schools and community organizations.
*They play an active role in deciding on and arranging educational and leisure trips.
*Work experience for older students, a practical hands-on feel for a working life. Students are expected to write and arrange thier own placements.
*Arranging community events, inviting speakers from different fields of life.
* Senior students undergo professional training Such as health and safety, first aid, mentoring, child partition etc.
*The Azan duities from Fajar to Isha are perfomed by Jamia Siddiqia students.
