Education is so much emphasized in Islam that the messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim.” The companions of the messenger, may Allah be pleased with them, cherished this little piece of advice and changed the course of history, guiding the whole of mankind.

Jamia Siddiqia was named after Abu Bakr Siddiq, may Allah be pleased with him, the best companion of the messenger, and the first caliph of Islam. The Islamic seminary was established as an effort to bring about the excellence of knowledge and action back to the ummah, and to raise a generation of Muslims once again who would follow the footsteps of the Sahaba (May Allah be pleased with them).
